Is SafeSplash Franchising Right for You?

SafeSplash owners come from very different places: gym operators, corporate professionals, multi-brand investors, and Olympic swimmers. What they share is a belief that every child deserves to be safe in the water, and the drive to build a business around it. Find the path that sounds like you.

What experience do I need?

No swim instruction experience is required. SafeSplash looks for owners with leadership or business management experience, strong people skills, the financial qualifications for their chosen model, and genuine commitment to water safety.

First-Time Business Owners

  • You're ready to leave corporate life, or build something alongside it

  • You want a business with meaning, not just a paycheck

  • You'd rather not take on real estate or a construction project

  • You're good with people and comfortable leading a team

... Sound like you?

How a first-time SAFESPLASH owner gets started

Many of our first-time owners start with the Hosted Swim School model. You don't need swim experience; you and you manager will be trained on curriculum, operations, marketing, and software before you open.

Plan for more than one location

Here's what we tell every first-time owner: a hosted pool is shared, so a single Hosted location runs a limited number of class days each week. That's why SafeSplash recommends operating at least two Hosted locations. Build your plan, and your capital, around growing beyond one pool.

Investors & Multi-Unit Operators

  • You own or operate other franchises or businesses and think in portfolios

  • You plan to run the business through an operating team or a Designated Business Manager

  • You want recurring revenue and a category tied to need, not trend

  • You have the capital for a Dedicated build-out, or a multi-unit development plan

... Sound like you?

The investment case, in four facts

  1. Recurring, need-based demand

Revenue comes primarily from weekly lessons parents treat as a safety requirement.

  2. Dedicated unit economics

Franchised Dedicated Locations averaged $1,058,090 in gross revenue and $225,652 in Adjusted 4-Wall EBITDA, with an average of 4.7 years in operation in the 2025 fiscal year. (See Item 19 of the FDD for full financial details)

  3. No Dedicated swim school closures in 2025

No Franchised Dedicated Location permanently closed during fiscal year 2025.

  4. Institutional backing

SafeSplash is part of Youth Enrichment Brands, alongside i9 Sports and School of Rock, and is affiliated with Roark Capital.

Facility & Pool Owners

  • You own or operate a fitness center, health club, swim club, HOA, hotel, school, or community facility with a pool

  • Your pool has open lanes or open hours, especially weekday afternoons and weekends

  • You want new revenue and new families walking through your doors

  • You don't want to design a curriculum, certify instructors, or build an enrollment system from scratch

... Sound like you?

Two ways to bring SafeSplash to your pool

Option 1: Own the SafeSplash franchise yourself.

Open a SafeSplash Hosted location inside your own facility. You keep the lesson revenue (less royalties and fees), and because you control the pool, no Hosted Location Fee applies.

Option 2: Host a SafeSplash owner.

Prefer not to run the program? Partner with SafeSplash to bring a local franchise owner into your pool in exchange for rent or a revenue share. No franchise fee.

Swimmers, Coaches & Swim Parents

  • You swam competitively, coached, taught lessons, or raised swimmers

  • Water safety is personal to you

  • You want your name on something that lasts in your community

  • You're ready to lead a business, not just teach in one

... Sound like you?

Why not just open my own swim school?

You could. But you'd spend years building what SafeSplash already has: a curriculum developed with input from Olympic-level swimmers, the S.A.F.E.R. Swimmer Promise parents trust, enrollment and billing software, site selection support, and a brand families recognize. SafeSplash lets you spend your time on swimmers instead of systems.

Which model fits?

Many founders choose a Dedicated school so they control the pool, the schedule, and the full family experience. Others start with Hosted locations and build toward a Dedicated school .
