SafeSplash Franchise FAQ
Some Commonly Asked Questions About How to Own a Swim School Franchise with SafeSplash
Getting Started
-
What experience do I need to own a swim school franchise with SafeSplash Swim School?
The SafeSplash Swim School franchise owner shares our philosophy and is passionate about helping families find quality swim instruction. We seek financially qualified candidates inspired by our mission who want to support children and adults as they become confident swimmers while developing lifelong water safety skills.
-
Do I need swim instruction experience to own a SafeSplash franchise?
No. SafeSplash owners come from business, education, fitness, and corporate backgrounds as well as competitive swimming. The Academy trains you and your manager on curriculum, operations, marketing, and software before you open. What matters most is leadership, people skills, financial qualification, and commitment to water safety.
-
Can I own a SafeSplash franchise without running it day to day?
You or a Designated Business Manager must complete The Academy, and every location needs a trained leader on site. Many multi-unit owners operate through managers; SafeSplash notes one manager can oversee one Dedicated location plus one to three Hosted locations. Ask our team how ownership structures work for your situation.
-
What is the difference between a Hosted and Dedicated SafeSplash location?
A Hosted location leases pool time inside an existing facility such as a gym or community pool. A Dedicated location is a standalone swim school with its own pool.
-
Can I convert my existing swim school to SafeSplash?
Yes. Conversion locations pay a reduced franchise fee, have a royalty that phases in over three years, and receive funding support for rebranding.
