Our Paramus SafeSplash Wave® program is an endurance and strength swim team prep program that takes swimmers who already have knowledge of the competitive swimming strokes and want to refine their swimming skills. The Wave program is broken up into 3 skill groups based on both physical conditioning and current experience of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly skills. This swim team training program includes regular weekly sessions with a set workout with an out of water coach whose primary goal is to mimic an experience one would have on a recreational swim team. Since prior knowledge of the competitive strokes is required, stroke technique is coached, but is not the primary focus of the Wave. Whether you’re looking to prepare for a summer swim team, get a jump start on swim team training or just get some mileage in the water practicing stroke technique, our Wave program will add a dose of weekly water fun to your schedule.
At SafeSplash Paramus we offer their very own recreational swim team. Our recreational swim team is a great introduction to swimmers wanting to dip their toes into the sport of swimming as part of a team. Weekly sessions include swim team training, mock meets and may include some local competitions. Our swim team program is for those swimmers looking to add more competition versus focusing on swim team training and swim stroke technique in our Wave program.
