One of the most important attributes that define us and the quality of service we provide is our team. Every member of our team is hired because they have a unique set of experiences and skills that make them one of the best at what they do! That’s why you’ll see our team using #IAmSafeSplash on posts they make on social media. Simply put, SafeSplash Swim School - Parker/Lone Tree is defined by our people and our team is what drives the premium experience for you and your student. We urge you to stop in and get to know us all. We have a fantastic group of friendly faces that are truly the best and brightest from the communities of Lone Tree, Parker, Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch and Greenwood Village Colorado.
Each one of our swim instructors is certified to teach/coach once they have completed an extensive classroom and in-water training program, a series of instructor shadowing sessions, and in-water instruction testing. In addition, all instructors and staff are CPR certified. All of our team members contribute to our parent’s blog, which features parenting and family resources, swimming tips, and personal experiences. Reading their blog posts is a great way to learn more about the perspectives that each of our instructors brings to the pool. Each instructor is unique and has a unique perspective on teaching our students, and all are the best in the industry!
Below are some of the biographies of our key instructors and management staff. You’ll notice that all of us have a story and interesting ties to our neighborhood. Please don’t hesitate to stop by our school and get to know our staff, any time.
Rachel is from Richmond, Virginia. She recently moved to Denver to pursue her love of coaching and training kids and adults with SafeSplash and SwimLabs. Rachel has worked in the Aquatics world for 15 years and has competitively swam her whole life, including swimming at Gardner-Webb University. Throughout her career she has coached competitive D1 athletes, triathletes, and USA club swimmers. In her most recent years she created a learn-to-swim program and grew the program from 20 to 150+ kiddos. This program created a fluid experience for both the customer and employee for learn to swimmers transferring onto swim teams. Rachel has a passion for coaching and teaching both kids and adults how to swim more efficiently. In her spare time Rachel travels to the mountains to explore Colorado!
My name is Jenny Claridge. My husband Brian and I have been married for 17 years and we have 3 girls who keep us busy with their various activities! I am originally from Anacortes, Washington. We currently live in Centennial and have lived here for 15 years. I started swimming at a very early age. I swam age group, and all through high school and then suffered an extensive shoulder injury so had to give up swimming before starting college. I’ve worked in aquatics off and on since I was 15, starting as a lifeguard and swim instructor and moved to coaching and management 2 years ago. I have a passion for teaching swim lessons and coaching and I’m excited to continue to share it with others!
I have been swimming ever since I started swimming lessons at 3 years old, and have been working at safesplash since 2015 starting out as a front desk and lifeguard and working my way up to instructor and now MOD! I am a native to Colorado and the Lone Tree area. I love the weather here as well as the beautiful nature. I am a student at Metropolitan State University of Denver and pursuing a degree in Busniess Management. When I'm not working me you can find me exploring downtown Denver or the mountains, hanging out with my family, friends and dogs, or at a DU hockey game!
In addition to our team, we work hard to partner and support many other small business operators in our local community. We believe that supporting local small business in our community is one of the ways we can help our community thrive!
