Adam and Ruth joined the SafeSplash Swim School family in 2021 and acquired SafeSplash Lakeland. Adam began swimming as an infant with his mother who taught swim lessons at their community center in Clinton, TN. He swam growing up on teams in Clinton, Oak Ridge, and Knoxville, followed by four years swimming at the University of Wisconsin, where he earned All-America honors and graduated with a degree in Finance. Before acquiring SafeSplash Lakeland, Adam coached all levels of swimming, from beginners in summer league to world class swimmers in NCAA Division 1. Ruth grew up in Idaho and Oregon, and in addition to being the owner of SafeSplash Lakeland, she is a Registered Nurse working at Baptist Hospital in Collierville. Adam and Ruth live in Collierville with their three children, Zachary, Madeline, and Jacob, and their family dog Willie. They are excited to bring a premier swim school experience with SafeSplash to the Mid-South!
