Say hello to our Assistant General Manager and Lead Trainer, Kayla. In the summertime, she loves to go camping with friends and family and spend time outside. When she is not at work, her favorite pastime is to snuggle up to a good episode of The Office or watch her favorite movie the Big Lebowski. In the future, Kayla would like to own her own Aquatics facility where she will continue the education of water safety for people of all ages!

Meet Alaina! Alaina has been teaching swimming lessons for over a year now. Her favorite way to spend her free time is reading, which will come in handy because she wants to become a lawyer! Be sure to say hi if you see her around!

Say hello to Alen! Alen has been swimming recreationally for 12 years! His favorite sea creature is a moon jellyfish. Tubing at the lake is one of his favorite memories growing up. If you see Alen, ask him for a sea creature fact (he knows almost 500 of them)! 

Meet Amalie! Her favorite sea creature is a starfish. When she’s not hanging out with her friends she is most likely tanning or watching Greys Anatomy. Give her a wave if you see her!

Say hello to Caroline! Caroline loves to swim and has been swimming since she was a kid. Playing chicken at the lake with her friends and family is her favorite swimming memory. In her free time, she loves to figure skate as well as volunteering to help teach little kids how to ice skate!

Meet Elyse. Elyse currently attends Waukee High School. Her dream job is to be a Perinatologist. Elyse has been swimming for as long as she can remember. Her favorite swimming memory is when she placed 3^rd in a mixed race. A fun fact about Elyse is that she loves the Blob fish, it is her favorite sea creature.

Say hello to Emily! Emily has been swimming since she was 7 years old and has been teaching lessons for over a year. In her free time, she trains her dogs and goes paddle boarding. If you see Emily around, make sure to give her a wave!

Say hello to Gigi! Gigi has been swimming recreationally since she was 1 year old. She plans to attend the University of Iowa to become a Forensic Pathologist. Her favorite summer activities are reading and running. If you see miss Gigi around, be sure to give her a wave!

Say hello to Izzy! Izzy is currently in high school but plans to attend college and go into the nursing field. Her favorite sport is soccer, and she has been playing since she was 5 years old. Izzy’s favorite sea creature is the turtle. Make sure to say hello to Izzy if you see her!

Meet Katelynn! Katelynn graduated from Simpson College in 2015. She dreams of being a stay-at-home mom so she can spend as much time with her kids as she can. Her favorite swimming memory was watching her kids get into the water for the first time!

Meet Mckenzee! She loves going to the pool with her friends and spending time in the sun. When she isn’t lifeguarding, Shes loves to put on her favorite movie Tangled or watch her favorite team Iowa play!

Meet Sloan! During the summer, you can find Sloan swimming or running the trails! She plans to go to college to become a lawyer after high school. Shes been swimming since she was young so always feel free to ask her questions!

Say hello to Sydney! Sydney has been with SafeSplash since the Waukee location first opened. Her favorite swimming memory is flipping off the diving boards. She currently attends Iowa State University and plans to graduate as a Recreational Therapist. If you see miss Sydney, be sure to give her a wave!

Meet Taylor! Taylor has been swimming since she was a baby. She enjoys going to the lake and hanging out with her friends. A fun fact about miss Taylor is that she loves Dolphins! If you see Taylor around, make sure to say hello!

Say hello to Spencer! Spencer is the biggest Kansas City Chiefs fan you will ever meet. He currently attends Drake university where he studies computer science. Along with swimming competitively for 13 years, Spencer is also scuba certified. If you see Spencer around, give him a wave!
