As the official swim school provider of USA Swimming, and the creators of a progressive curriculum developed by a network of Olympic champions, we know swimming! Warm water, small classes, and flexible schedules make it easy to jump in.
At SafeSplash water safety is not only what we teach but it’s who we are. We are dedicated to teaching water safety both in and out of the water.
At SafeSplash, we have a passion for swimming and we want all of our swimmers to love and respect the water. While we were all about making learning to swim fun, we know learning to swim is a serious matter. Did you know drowning is the leading cause of injury death in the U.S. children 1 through 4 years of age? And, for every child who dies from drowning, another five receive emergency department care for nonfatal submersion injuries.
The good news is that there are many precautions you can take to lower the risk for your children. According to the National Institute of Health (NIH) learning to swim can reduce the risk of drowning by up to 88%. Learning to swim is one of the most proactive safety precautions you can take for your family. And, we’re not talking about just the kids. Many times parents are also in need of becoming safer, stronger swimmers. We are here to help - check out our swimming lessons for kids and our adult swim lesson programs.
When it comes to choosing swimming lessons for your kiddos, we know you have plenty of options. We also know exactly what young swimmers and their families need to have the best experience possible. Our warm water pools and small class sizes help SafeSplash stand out, but it’s our proven curriculum that ensures your child learns new skills while having a blast.
The lesson plans we use were developed by a team of experienced and passionate world-class swimmers. From infancy to toddlerhood and beyond, our progressive curriculum empowers your child to become a stronger swimmer. We believe swimmers need to develop swim skills that not only allow them to float, but also move themselves to safety as confident, efficient swimmers. Having a correct, efficient swim stroke enables swimmers to move themselves out of potentially dangerous situations. Our swim lesson program includes:
Right from the beginning, every SafeSplash student learns the basics of water safety and the correct way to swim. We believe swimmers need to develop swim skills that not only allow them to float, but to also move themselves to safety as confident, efficient swimmers. Having a correct, efficient swim stroke enables swimmers to move themselves out of potentially dangerous situations. As their skills increase, they’ll become more and more confident… both in the pool and in everyday life.
Start with SafeSplash during your child’s early years, and watch your little swimmer grow into a strong and confident lifelong lover of water.
Beyond learning to swim, there are many other precautions you can take to be safer both in and around the water. We’ve made them easy to remember with our SPLASH acronym:
S = SWIM LESSONS (be sure to learn the life saving skill of swimming)
P = PUT AWAY TOYS, PUT UP LADDER (empty small pools and cover hot tubs)
L = LIFE JACKETS (on a boat, canoe, kayak, paddle board)
A = ADULT ALWAYS WATCHING (establish an adult water watcher)
S = SHUT ALL GATES (self-closing and self-latching gates)
H = HOW TO RESCUE (Throw, don’t go! Know CPR and rescue skills)
At SafeSplash we are proud of the positive impact we have on every single student we teach to swim. Over the years we have developed tens of thousands of strong, confident swimmers. Our commitment to our community goes beyond the families that come to us. Knowing that learning to swim in the most effective thing we can do to lower the risk of drowning, we feel we have a responsibility to take this message to our community. Together, we can reduce the risk of drowning for the kids through talking about water safety and encouraging swim lessons.
