Video analysis lessons
Welcome to SafeSplash Coeur d'Alene, the perfect place to focus on swim training for a triathlon. Our SafeSplash indoor training facility has warm water pools, mirrors on the bottom of the pool, 360-degree video feedback technology and personalized support from a skilled instructor to help you swim faster and train better.
Whether this is your first triathlon or are working toward an IRONMAN, our one-of-a-kind stroke analysis technology is for you. Our CDA location uses the same software and technology that today’s Olympic swimmers rely on, so you know you’ll be training with experts who are committed to helping you grow as an athlete.
We offer both private and semi-private lessons for triathletes, so get in touch with our team to learn about lesson scheduling, open water swimming and other opportunities for triathletes to train in the Lab.
Video feedback technology lets triathletes of all ages and abilities instantly view their freestyle stroke technique, correct or enhance their form, adjust their technique, and master their swimming skills.
The entire SafeSplash Coeur d'Alene team is fiercely passionate about swimming, and our curriculum has been developed by a team of world class swimmers with over 30 years of teaching experience. That’s not all, either — here are some additional details that show why SafeSplash is unlike other swim schools and competitive swim facilities:
Our proven approach doesn’t just help triathletes swim faster, it also helps them learn faster. SafeSplash has helped thousands of athletes feel more confident during the swim portion of their races, and we’d love to help you train more efficiently and effectively, too.
Team nights provide each swimmer with 20 minutes of instruction and video analysis of the stroke of their choice. SwimLabs instructors will be facilitating lessons but we value and encourage coaches input and active participation. At the end of their session, the swimmer will receive their video analysis. Call us to schedule a private event for your team!
Due to the highly personalized nature of the SafeSplash approach, we do not offer group competitive swimming lessons. We do offer team nights, however, which provide each triathlete with 20 minutes of instruction and video analysis of their freestyle.
SafeSplash Coeur d'Alene instructors will facilitate lessons, but we value and encourage input and active participation from coaches. At the end of their session, each triathlete will receive their video analysis via email. Please contact our team to learn more and schedule an event for your team or triathlete club.
We offer infant and toddler swim lessons as early as 6 months of age to help build confidence and get your infant comfortable in the water. Our small ParentTot classes are a great way for parents to bond and socialize with their kiddos while teaching vital water safety skills like breath control, floating and kicking. We also offer Toddler Transition classes for kiddos ages 18-36 months. Parents join their swimmers poolside until they are ready to transition to a small group class without a parent nearby. Both classes focus on foundational water safety skills as well as developing a comfort in the water, which are crucial in developing swimming skills.
Whether you are just starting out, overcoming a fear of water or you are looking to refine your swim skills, our program gives adult swimmers at every level the opportunity to improve their skills. We offer a variety of class types for adults from small group classes to semi-private and private lessons. It’s never too late to learn this critical life skill. Our passionate instructors can help you overcome your fear and open the opportunity of enjoying the water.
Our private swim lessons allow swimmers of all ages and levels to progress through our curriculum at their own pace with one of our certified swim instructors. Each 30 minute class will be customized around mastering the skills to become a better, stronger, safer swimmer. Private and semi-private lessons (two swimmers with one instructor) are great options if you are looking for more time focused on your individual swimmer or siblings wanting to be in the same class.
Swimming is a life skill for all and it can also have tremendous therapeutic benefits. Being in water can soothe sensory overload, provide relief from physical discomfort, and provide students with a sense of independence. In addition to teaching water safety skills, swimming lessons can also improve balance, coordination, strength, and range of motion. At SafeSplash Swim School we have a team of certified instructors with various training and experience in working with students with special or unique needs. We encourage meeting with you and your swimmer prior to starting lessons to discuss your goals and develop a customized teaching plan that meets the needs of your family.
Our swim camps are perfect for swimmers looking to jump start their skills by swimming with us on a more frequent basis. Lesson frequency and consistency (along with quality instruction and a world class swim curriculum) is a key element in progressing a student’s swimming ability. Our swim camps provide lessons multiple times per week and are typically 1 to 3 weeks in duration. We also offer stroke clinics where we focus on specific stroke techniques to refine our student’s skills.
The SafeSplash Wave® program is an endurance, strength, and swim team prep program that takes swimmers who already have knowledge of the competitive swimming strokes and want to refine their swimming skills. Our Wave program is broken up into swimmer groups based on swimmer ability, physical conditioning and current knowledge of the strokes in accordance to USA Swimming standards and our SafeSplash curriculum. Each session includes a set workout with an out of water coach whose primary goal is to mimic the experience one would have on a recreational swim team.
Our family open swim is a great time to practice swimming skills outside of lessons and have fun with the whole family. Our warm water pools make for a great way to spend the day splashing around and staying active. Practicing water safety and swim skills on a more frequent basis is a key to success in learning to swim. Plus, it’s simply fun!
