Learning to swim is a life skill that not only keeps you safe but also opens up a world of opportunities for you and your family. Our family swim is a great time for your whole crew to practice swimming skills outside of regular swimming lessons or just to enjoy our kid and family friendly swimming pools and stay active year-round. We encourage our current swimmers and their families to utilize this time to practice water safety, improve on swim skills and socialize with other families and kids in a kid friendly swimming pool. Our warm water indoor pools make family swim enjoyable for all ... infants, kids and parents to grandparents, everyone is welcome during family swim time! Did we mention our swimming pool is warm?
Jump-in and practice those swim skills with the whole family during open swim. (No instruction)
Swimming, like most activities, is a skill that takes time to perfect and practice makes perfect. We know that it can be hard to find a family friendly swimming pool or swim center near Aurora (Southlands Mall) to practice these vital water safety skills. That is why we offer open family swim times at SafeSplash. We want all of our swimmers to excel and have a safe, fun environment to continue perfecting what they are learning in swim lessons. When it comes to learning to swim and more advanced skills like swim stroke technique we believe that repetition and frequency are key in order to gain strength, stamina and retain skills. What better place to practice these skills than in our large warm water family friendly pool!
We offer infant and toddler swim lessons as early as 6 months of age to help build confidence and get your infant comfortable in the water. Our small ParentTot classes are a great way for parents to bond and socialize with their kiddos while teaching vital water safety skills like breath control, floating and kicking. We also offer Toddler Transition classes for kiddos ages 18-36 months. Parents join their swimmers poolside until they are ready to transition to a small group class without a parent nearby. Both classes focus on foundational water safety skills as well as developing a comfort in the water, which are crucial in developing swimming skills.

Swimming is a life skill for all and it can also have tremendous therapeutic benefits. Being in water can soothe sensory overload, provide relief from physical discomfort, and provide students with a sense of independence. In addition to teaching water safety skills, swimming lessons can also improve balance, coordination, strength, and range of motion. At SafeSplash Swim School we have a team of certified instructors with various training and experience in working with students with special or unique needs. We encourage meeting with you and your swimmer prior to starting lessons to discuss your goals and develop a customized teaching plan that meets the needs of your family.
Our swim camps are perfect for swimmers looking to jump start their skills by swimming with us on a more frequent basis. Lesson frequency and consistency (along with quality instruction and a world class swim curriculum) is a key element in progressing a student’s swimming ability. Our swim camps provide lessons multiple times per week and are typically 1 to 3 weeks in duration. We also offer stroke clinics where we focus on specific stroke techniques to refine our student’s skills.
The SafeSplash Wave® program is an endurance, strength, and swim team prep program that takes swimmers who already have knowledge of the competitive swimming strokes and want to refine their swimming skills. Our Wave program is broken up into swimmer groups based on swimmer ability, physical conditioning and current knowledge of the strokes in accordance to USA Swimming standards and our SafeSplash curriculum. Each session includes a set workout with an out of water coach whose primary goal is to mimic the experience one would have on a recreational swim team.
