The trial lesson typically lasts around 30 minutes. During this time, our experienced instructors will introduce basic water safety skills and assess your child's comfort in the water. It's a great way for both you and your child to get a feel for our program.
Please bring a swimsuit, towel, goggles, and a swim cap or hair tie (for swimmers with long hair). All swimmers under the age of 3 years (and those who are not fully potty trained) must wear a reusable diaper in addition to a disposable swim diaper.
Of course! Our dedicated swim schools have a climate-controlled viewing area with floor to ceiling glass so parents can keep a close eye on their swimmer(s) from our lobby area. At our schools hosted in a fitness club, we ask parents to watch their child’s lesson from the designated viewing area on deck. Parents or caregivers are always required to stay on the premises during lessons.
Our student-to-instructor ratio is kept low to ensure personalized attention and a safe learning environment. Our ParentTot classes, where a parent joins their child in the water, have a student to teacher ratio of 6:1. Group lessons ages 2+ have a 3:1 student to teacher ratio.
Your child's safety is our top priority. Our instructors are not only skilled in teaching swimming but are also certified in CPR and First Aid. We also require that Lifeguard certified staff are on-hand for all swim lessons.
