The deck supervisor is a lifeguard on duty. They are responsible for observing and patrolling the pool area, enforcing safety regulations as outlined in American Red Cross Lifeguard standards. Deck supervisors are also responsible for assisting swimmers in and around the pool area as well as swim instructors, as needed. Other duties include: efficiently managing swim class attendance, assisting swimmers from the lobby to the pool area, promptly keeping classes operating as scheduled, minor pool maintenance and upkeep and other duties as outlined by the management staff.
- Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of customers in the event of an emergency.
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate incident reports.
- Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high level of customer service.
- The secondary focus is to guide the swimmers from the lobby to their classes in a timely manner as outlined by management. This will include making sure that the students are properly prepared for swim lessons.
- Efficiently manage daily class routines without taking away from class safety including: attendance, ribbon changes, swimmer needs, instructor needs and assist customers as necessary.
- Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
- Keep and maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer.
- Previous swim instruction experience is required.
- Must be able to successfully complete all lifeguard prerequisites to American Red Cross standards.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds.

SwimLabs is a year-round, indoor swim school for children and adults who are learning to swim, as well as a training facility for competitive swimmers and triathletes. We are looking for self-motivated, energetic, personable individuals to become part of our team. It is the technical swim component for competitive swimmers in the SafeSplash + SwimLabs facility.
The ideal candidate has a passion for swimming, stroke technique, and values continuous education. You must enjoy working with swimmers of all ages and abilities, from new swimmers to national level swimmers. You should have a welcoming, bright personality, professional appearance, be very well organized, punctual and have a positive can-do attitude.

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Aquatics Manager oversees the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and administration of the SafeSplash facility. They will work with the Aquatics Manager on the SwimLabs side of the facility, which contains the SwimLabs swim tanks. The SafeSplash Aquatics Manager oversees the hiring, training, testing, scheduling, and certification of staff and coaches of the SafeSplash learn-to-swim facility. They develop and implement programs using SafeSplash curriculum and ensures that all appropriate water health and safety standards are maintained. The Aquatics Manager may also instruct classes depending on staffing levels and needs.
