Our History

SafeSplash Swim School was founded in 2003 by the parents of two young children who were frustrated with the idea that there were no dedicated warm water swim instruction programs for their kids in their local community.  They recognized that swimming is a life skill that they wanted to teach their kids at a young age.  As a former competitive swimmers and committed parents, they wanted to give their children the opportunity to learn to swim in a premium learning environment with exceptional instructors and outstanding customer service.  They wanted to offer their kids an experience that was fun, exciting, comfortable and rewarding.  As a result, SafeSplash Swim School was born.

As you move through the franchising due diligence process, you will meet other franchisees, the founders and the executive management team of SafeSplash.  You will quickly feel the passion that they have for the business.  You will learn about the charitable causes they support and why they love what they do.  You will learn from the franchisees about why they love being a franchisee of SafeSplash.  You might even learn about major iniatives that have been started by our franchisees like Swim for Life Ohio.

96% of our franchise system consists of multi-unit owners.  As such, we are proud to also know that our system is growing based on the strength of our franchisees and their re-investment into our brand.
