Whether it's making a child smile or helping a student achieve a goal they didn't think was possible, SafeSplash instructors are pretty awesome. In this segment, we want to highlight our staff, team members, and instructors and give them an opportunity to Splash-N-Tell a little bit about themselves and why they love swimming. Today, we have Jackson Fowler from Keller, Texas.
When a friend needs help, you do your best to help him or her. Before she moves back to Europe next month, my friend Louise worked for a SafeSplash Swim School in Texas. One day, I get a message from Louise asking for some photo help for the swim school. She said they needed photos to help market the swim school. I agreed to help them out, and I visited both school locations on two separate Sundays.
Many people who know me and know how much I enjoy being in the water may think my favorite season is summer when I can swim outdoors or go to the lake wakeboarding or to the coast bodyboarding. Although summer is one of my favorite seasons, it is not my all time favorite. Living in Texas we don’t really get to experience seasons like Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter but we most certainly get to enjoy Football Season.
Dear SafeSplash Family,
Due to Hurricane Harvey, our SafeSplash Houston locations will be closed through Labor Day. The safety of our swimmers is of the most importance, and we hope our Houston swim family stays safe during the storm.
Learning to swim is a defining experience in a child's life, an experience that creates lasting memories similar to learning to ride a bike. But unlike riding a bike, swimming is important to your child's safety and development. At SafeSplash, we understand...swimming is a life skill®. We also understand that swimming develops into a true passion for many; This is why we wanted to know what inspires you to swim!
THANK YOU to everyone that participated in the 'I Swim Because' contest! We had an amazing turnout and learned why many of our peers and students swim. We saw some truly inspiring individuals sharing why swimming is close to their heart.
