School is already in full swing and with our busy schedules, make ahead meals are such a great idea. They make dinner time a breeze, and there is little to no clean up after dinner. Just a few dishes, and maybe a pot or two for side dishes. You can even get some disposable casserole dishes from the dollar store to make your prep even easier, and save some room in your freezer! If you follow my monthly menus, you'll know how much I love just cooking once, and being able to have multiple meals ready. My CrockPot Spaghetti Sauce is the perfect base for these meals. There is so much you can do with it; freeze the sauce just as is it to make a simple pasta dish one night, or mix it with some cheeses and cooked pasta for a baked ziti or use it for one of my most popular recipes - Chicken Parmesan Casserole. The recipe ideas with spaghetti sauce are endless, and best of all, it's very budget friendly!! There are so many options for make ahead meals, from breakfast to dinner with some after-school snacks too! With just a little bit of planning, and prep, you can make a months worth of food in one day. Just think about the time you'll save after work, or on those nights before practice or dance lessons!!
