Our StaffOur staff is second to none at SafeSplash Swim School. We pride ourselves in putting the best team of instructors in the pool with our students each and every day. Each of our instructors has a love for teaching children to swim and has a deep understanding of fundamentals of swimming. Most have backgrounds in children’s education, swim instruction and/or competitive swimming. All instructors are swim instruction professionals (we do not employ temporary staff) and are certified in CPR.
Here are some of the faces of the SafeSplash Swim School team that you can expect to see around the pool:
Russ Marsh, General Manager
Prior to joining the SafeSplash Swim School team, Russ held positions as the Founder and General Manager of D.C Swim School for kids, Founder and Coach of the Castle Rock Swim Team for kids, Head Coach of the University of Colorado Men’s and Women’s Swim Team, Head Coach of the New Zealand Olympic Altitude Training Program, Co-Chairman Colorado Swimming Age Group Program, and Director of the Colorado Swimming All-Star program.
Russ has received numerous awards throughout his career including the prestigious Colorado Age Group Coach of the Year award. Russ even held the world record for the 50 meter breaststroke at one time as a Master’s swimmer.
As Russ has progressed through his career he has come to realize that his true love is teaching kids the skills they need to love the water. He believes that while it isn’t important for every child to swim in the Olympics, it is critically important that every child learn to love the water and be able to enjoy it safely.
Look for Russ in the pool. In addition to running the place, he holds swim class almost every day.
Jaime Zilverberg, Director of Operations
Prior to joining SafeSplash Jaime worked as a producer for a local major broadcast news channel. However, she was never far from a pool either teaching lessons or coaching. She has taught lessons since 1994 and also coached a Masters Swim Team in Parker.
Jaime has always known that she wanted to give back to a sport that has given her so much. Her daily goal is to pass on her swimming knowledge to the parents and children at SafeSplash.

Russ Marsh has been working in the swimming industry for 33 years. During his long career, Russ has taught and coached swimming to every level of swimmer possible ranging from infant beginners to Olympic finalists.
Jaime Zilverberg has been a part of the swimming community for 18 years. She started swimming competitively at age 8, was the Colorado state champion in the 100 Butterfly and swam throughout her college career for Brown University.
