Ohio State University’s men’s swimming coach is looking to teach younger kids as well Bill Wadley, in his 27th season at Ohio State, is opening five swim schools around Central Ohio as part of a franchise agreement with SafeSplash Swim School. The first two have opened at LA Fitness gyms at Polaris and in Powell, with a third at the LA Fitness in Grandview opening soon. Two additional locations are planned in Hilliard and New Albany in September. “I believe it’s the best business for me to own in order to help children not only learn the importance of being water safe but to learn to love the water and swimming like I do,” Wadley said in a press release. Colorado-based SafeSplash has nearly 100 locations in 10 states, with a goal of opening nearly 400 more by the end of 2020
